[ Lecture ] - WHMCE Distinguished Lecture Series - EXPLORING THE UNKNOWN: The passion to understand and inspired the world by Dr. Jane Goodall Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) and UN Messenger of Peace, is a world-renowned ethologist and conservationist, inspiring greater understanding, and action on behalf of the natural world. Dr. Jane’s work builds on scientific innovations, her groundbreaking discoveries that chimpanzees make and use tools forever changed our understanding of our relationship to the rest of the animal kingdom. And the research continues today. Today, Jane travels approximately 300 days each year, inspiring audiences worldwide through speaking tours, media engagements, written publications, and a wide array of film, television and podcast projects. And we are honored to collaborate with the Jane Goodall Institute Hong Kong, and have her in the HKU to present as our first speaker for the ”WHMCE Distinguished Lecture Series“, sharing her experience in research & education, to inspire our youth to discover the unknown in the world.
